Live action remake of Pinocchio out today? You know what that means, looking back at covers of one of songs from the original! Because I’m odd, I’m picking the only song not featured in the 2022 version ‘Give a Little Whistle.’
Michael Giacchino is know for his punny titles and portmanteaus (‘Close Encounters of the Furred Kind’, ‘Earthbound and Down’, ‘Give Her My Budapest’, ‘Owen You Nothing’, and ‘Iguana Be Kidding Me’ are just a few great examples from other films. ) and ‘The Incredits’ is just another great example.
Disney is back with a reboot, so we are back with more covers of the fantastic theme song to Chip and Dales Rescue Rangers.
Apparently there’s a reboot of the Netflix show coming, so let’s give a listen to the original’s theme.

There aren’t too many Disney songs about mother’s (heck, there aren’t too many Disney mom’s that survive a whole movie). And since we’re celebrating mom’s today, I think ‘Baby Mine’ is a better fit than ‘Mother Knows Best’. Preformed by Betty Noyes as Mrs. Jumbo singing to Dumbo in the 1941 film.
